AMPLIFIERS:
- 1950's Danelectro Special 60 in custom 50's era Miller Genuine Draft Beer Box with 60's era Jensen Blue Bell 12" speaker. This guitar amp was used heavily on the new Mother Hips record, "Kiss The Crystal Flake" and can be heard on the tracks "Mission in Vein", "T.G.I.M." (the vibrato in the intro to kick it off), "In This Bliss" (guitar solo), and several others. If you haven't heard the new Hips record, it's amazing, and you should own a copy... as well as all their other records. This amp screams. It's fairly loud, but has incredible break up and tone. The fact that it chills in an old school Miller High Life beer box helps with the mojo as well.
