While most widely know as the drummer for Hammond B3 Organ driven Roots-Rockers Buffalo Creek, many are unaware that 20 year drum and guitar veteran Nick Bearden also moonlights as a Singer / Songwriter / Bassist / Record Producer / Engineer / Embroidered Western Shirt Aficionado / Arranger / for both his own solo projects, and others. As the owner of Buffalo Creek Studios, Bearden gained credibility engineering / mixing / producing for numerous acts ranging from rock, country, acoustic, pop, hip hop & R&B, jazz, and more. Bearden also mixed the album Signal To Noise and engineered / mixed the album Paint By Numbers.
In 2008, Bearden engineered, produced, co-mastered (with J.J. Golden), and provided Drums, Guitar, Baritone Guitar, Dobro and backing vocals on the highly anticipated solo record of Portland Oregon singer songwriter Bryn Loosley which also features Audley Freed of The Black Crows, Tim Bluhm of The Mother Hips, Jackie Greene of Phil Lesh & Friends, Shannon Curtis, and Dru Pressman of The Fabulous Richie Feltons among others.
Additionally, in early 2008 Bearden recorded guitar and drums for the followup to "Boomerangs & Seasaws" by L.A. based singer-songwriter Shannon Curtis, "Paris Can't Have You".
Additionally, Bearden recorded & produced tracks for the upcoming San Diego based singer-songwriter Alyssa Jacey Record, toured the Pacific North / Southwest & Tennessee extensively.
Late 2008 / Early 2009 Bearden joined on with Interscope Records artist Sara Haze on guitar & vocal duty.
Bearden is currently working on several recording projects with Northern California and International Artists in addition to a new solo record, as yet to be titled.
